Department of Commerce of Govt. Arts and Science College, Tholanur, Palakkadwas established in the year 2018. The Department offers Bachelor of Commerce with the specialisation: B.Com.(Finance), one of the most demanded courses of the contemporary academic world. The College is affiliated to University of Calicut; hence the college follows syllabus and course curriculum prescribed by the University of Calicut.

The Department is engaged in teaching and conducting programmes to give exposure and develop skills on various Commerce subjects giving concentration in specialisation in Finance. The specialisation includes Financial Markets and Services, Financial Management, Fundamentals of Investments and Financial Derivatives.

  • Department organised a Three-day National Seminar on “Logistics and Supply Chain Management” in the year 2019.
