Establishedin 2018, the Department of English is one of the prominent departments of Govt.Arts and Science College Tholanur. The Department now offers an Undergraduate course on English Language and Literature with History and Journalism as complementary courses. It also offers Common Courses in English for B.A., B. Sc. and B. Com students.
With a team of dedicated faculty members, the Department equip the students to face the present-day challenges and opens windows to wide spectrum of possibilities in the field English language and Literature. As English is a global language, the proficiency in the language offers the students chances on a global scale.
